Dr. Matt Smith is a home-grown Waycross boy having graduated from Ware County High School in 1977. He attended the University of Georgia and attained a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and then completed his dental training at The Medical College of Georgia in 1985. After dental school, Dr. Smith returned to the community he loved and has enjoyed providing quality dental care to area citizens for 35 years. Dr. Smith and Dr. Manus were married in 1986 and soon purchased the practice of Dr. Ray Eleazer. Dr. Smith especially enjoys a focus on comprehensive dental care merging the discipline of restorative dentistry and smile design with a pursuit of healthy supporting tissues and healthy jaw joint function. He has been active in many local, state, and national dental organizations. Dr. Smith is the proud father of seven children and considers parenting his highest calling. He has enjoyed teaching Bible studies in his church for thirty years. His hobbies include golf, bowhunting, and fishing.
Dr. Page Manus has been delivering quality dental care to families and children of Southeast Georgia since 1986. She is a graduate of Kennesaw College and the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry. She also completed a mini residency in pedodontics at the University of Florida School of Dentistry in 1998. Dr. Manus’s passion is restoring the dental health of children and teens. Her ideal day consists of treating these young people exclusively. In addition to her private practice, she has been active in various school dental programs and currently works with the Southeast Health Unit treating underserved children in our area. In addition to her role as a children’s dentist Dr. Manus is the mother of seven children, five daughters and two sons. Caring tirelessly for the needs of such a large family commands most of her time, but she finds time to enjoy reading and exercise. She is a faithful member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Blackshear, Georgia.
